Contemporary ROTOR:

The band ROTOR comes from Benešov of Prague. These five men play melodious rock and now in the year 2000 celebrate 20 years of her existence. Repertoire of the band composition 70% of own creation and the rest are the compositions taken over from J. Schelinger, Deep Purple, Kiss, Uriah Heep, Slade, etc…  The group ROTOR is famous especially from dancing entertainments and concerts Prague, Pilsen, Tabor, Benešov. ROTOR had have still in the end of the year 1996 two drummers at the same since Milan Balcar who came after having a function in the groups of ODYSEA, PUMPA, KATAPULT and Standa Pekný who writes lyrics and is simultaneously the press agent of the band. Precise rhythmic and teamwork was are product of the guitarist Jinra Všetecka and the bass guitarist Milan Hampl.

New member of the band is Ladislav Tupý, the player of solo guitar, owner and producer of recording studio , where the band, has got the recording possibility their devices record and publish either. That whole team of musicians raise rough voice solo singer Milan Cervenka who is compares with the voice of J. Schelinger. In the year 1997 was published 1.CD of ROTOR with the title "Z". On this CD is 16 compositions and it is selection of the best groups production in the whole time of the produce. Second CD in the order with the name "Jsme jenom lidi" ( We are only the people ), content 12 compositions of melodious rock and that means the start to the new direction of the band. Some of the text for that CD was writing as well Pavel Pùta (lyricist of some very famous Katapult's song) who is the godfather of that CD. The melody put together M. Cervenka, J.Všetecka and M.Balcar. As a quest is sings incredible Pavla Kapitánová and bass guitarist of the ETC group Jiri Veselý plays in accordions. The band has got recorded video clip for the composition "Neboj se posadit" (Don't afraid to assert yourself).

 

In spring in the year 1999 after leaving founder and member Jindra Všetecka complemented arrangement of the sign group ROTOR versatile musicians Milan Tùma and he reached the band with playing in a few instruments and singing too. The next change was in the spring time, the year 2000 when drummer Milan Balcar replaced Radek Stárek, professional player of drums, famous like a worker in the group which were doing accompany to Heidi Jankù, Tanja and trey were working in foreign countries for five years. New drummer Radek Starek poured new blood into the rhythmic of ROTOR and reinforcement her show of spring either. After many interest of the fans J.Schelinger about using his wear by voice and utter of Milan Cervenka with Jiøí Schelinger, the group ROTOR put into her repertoire his songs and the is calling them  as "Revival Jirí Schelinger". There is going on about the selection of the best hits.
